Jamaican Food In Philadelphia

20070404pattie.jpgWe just came across a survey of the best of Jamaica in Philadelphia. Apparently, the users of Jamaicans.com voted on, among other things, the best Jamaican restaurants in Philadelphia. The winners? Golden Krust is the best chain, while Jaggies, Tropical Choice and the Jamaican Jerk Hut tied as the top local restaurants. Philadelphia's Jamaican population has traditionally been spread out in Olney, West Philadelphia and Southwest Philadelphia, making some of Philly's JA restaurants a healthy drive/SEPTA ride away from Center City, but good jerk chicken is always something worth traveling for.
