Jimmy John's To Open In Philly
Based on this Craigslist post, it looks like midwestern sub chain Jimmy John's is expanding into the Philadelphia market. It will be interesting to see how another national chain will fare in the land of the hoagie. Quizno's and, to a lesser degree, Subway, have both been able to thrive in Philadelphia and environs. A look at the menu of one of their Chicago locations shows that they indeed call 'em subs. Will they also be referred to as subs by their Philly locations? Time will tell—but please just call them hoagies.
