A Monday-night event at the Palm (200 S. Broad) raised more than $200,000 for irritable-bowel-disease research at Children's Hospital. NBC-10's Dawn Timmeney emceed a live auction that preceeded dinner. The event was put on by PalmCares, the charitable arm of the steakhouse chain.In other Palm news, Jim Haney, its general manager, surprised CN8's "Your Morning" co-anchors Connie Colla and Greg Coy by unveiling live on their program the new caricatures on the restaurant's walls of faces.
