Ansill Goes Barbecuing

Queens Village offal-and-swine mecca Ansill is throwing an event that, to our ears, sounds friggin' awesome.

On Friday, June 20th, the restaurant is holding a "Euro-style" barbecue. What does that mean? Here's the word straight from the press release:

$30 gets you a heaping plate for two. Chow down on roasted pig, assorted grilled meats, marinated vegetables, various salads, antipasti and a glass of house wine (red or white) or draft beer.

So it's $15 a head for roast pork, fancy bourgie-style barbecue, booze and sides? Sweet.

For reservations, call Ansill at (215) 627-2485.
