Poutine Hits South Philly

This is poutine. Freshly made french fries covered in gravy and melted white cheddar cheese curds. Food of the gods.

Back in November of 2007, we posted about how poutine was added to the menu at Kildare's.

Now we just learned that the South Philadelphia Tap Room has updated their menu to include poutine.

This means that, at this moment, poutine is easier to find in Philadelphia than it is in New York. Philly's Quebecois expats and lovers of killer cheese fries are all very lucky right now.
