Planning Ahead: Cactus Opening

CactusRestaurantBarLogoresized.jpg Cactus, which was originally set to open back in August, is opening next week. As reported on The Clog a couple months ago, Joe Abruzzo of Bayou and Joe Jowett are the dudes behind this new Tex-Mex venture.

Locals are probably pretty psyched about this opening: the food &mdash at least from the looks of the menu &mdash seems like it will be reliable, Southwestern comfort food of sorts, and the tequila list is out of control (in a good way).

But enough about things that we can't actually predict yet! Here's what we can tell you: Cactus is having their grand opening party next Thursday, October 9. There will be a two hour open bar from 10pm-12am, with Cuervo margaritas, Stella Artois, and the like, and complimentary hors d'oeuvres, to fill your tummy. This seems like a really stellar chance to check out the space, sample what's to come from the kitchen, and sip on margaritas and other fancy cocktails.
