Clip Of The Day: Fish Is More Appetizing If It Floats In Circles

One of the best ways to get your favorite child "into" sushi is by taking him or her to a sushi restaurant with floating sushi boats. We're not sure if it's the combination of toys and food or the instinctual hunter/gatherer impulse that draws kids to it, but whatever the reason, odds are that it will turn the youngster onto raw fish. Of course, decent floating sushi boat restaurtants are usually hard to come by, as unclaimed pieces of fish have the tendecy to float ... and float ... and float ... and float before getting consumed by an unlucky someone.

The bottom line is that you won't get top quality fish at a boat-sushi place. But for passable, entertaining sushi, we'll have to take the Chowhounds' advice and go with Isobune or Warakubune. One word of advice: be willing to let less appetizing pieces sail on by.
