Scott Howard Closes For Real
Sad: The Chronicle's Michael Bauer is reporting that Scott Howard, which closed "temporarily" a few weeks ago, will remain closed. Bauer quotes the namesake chef from an e-mail Howard sent him:
"It is with much disappointment to report to you that SCOTT HOWARD will not be reopening, After many discussions and careful thoughts it was determined the best move would be to sell the restaurant and move on."But Bauer reports that Howard is not planning to leave the Bay Area, so that's good.
