The Mint Leaf Is Open For Business
Mint Leaf opens today, as we mentioned earlier this week. If you're in the downtown Coral Gables area, you might want to try one of their lunch specials. When we called and were told that the lunch specials run between $13 and $15, we thought that was a little steep. Then we heard what it includes. Your lunch thali comes with a curry (choice of vegetable, lamb, chicken or shrimp), a canapé, two vegetables, a lentil stew, salad, raita, papadums, bread and rice. Even if the portions are tiny, that's still a fairly big lunch.
The lunch specials are only available for sit-down lunch this week; they'll start doing take-out next week.
