Sara at All Purpose Dark reports that The Food Gang has shut its doors after a two-year stint. Seems like they made a few bad decisions, starting with letting Howie Kleinberg go.

No the reality is that the owners didnt have a clue as how to open, operate and manage a food service business from Day one with Howie or not-it takes more than a talented chef to run a business as most haven't a clue...Sorry Howie but how long did it take you to get your rinky dink BBQ joint opened and at what start up costs...I hope you have deep pockets as its gonna take a while to recoup investment especially when you add in the wasted time that you paid rent for.....
